Let's face it:

Everyone can afford to add a few more "healthy habits" to their routine. Maybe you have been struggling with sticking to a specific goal only to find yourself starting over... and over... again every Monday morning... sound familiar?

We start off with

Great Expectations

& Strong Intentions

of productivity only to find ourselves stressed out and not willing to do what it takes to achieve the overly ambitious goals we set in hopes to create a - better - healthier - less stressful life.

- - - there is something to be said for the saying - - -

Small Habits Make The Biggest Difference

We believe this is to be true and so necessary when trying to meet your health & fitness goals.

In our own K-Scope Fashion...

These are some quick & easy tips to try this week to help you gain momentum in order to reach those B-I-G scary (a u d a c i o u s) wellness goals.

1. Meditate.

Invest Time in YOURSELF - there is only one you. The practice of meditation s c i e n t i f i c a l l y stimulates the pituitary gland to produce endorphins and endorphins make you happy! It's science!

Meditation can also assist with...

  • Boosting Creativity
  • Supporting a Good Night Sleep
  • Reducing Internal Stressors

Set aside 10 minutes to fully focus on your meditation practice and start your week off feeling

r e f r e s h e d  and  r e v i t a l i z e d

2.  Get Some Greens.

Instead of focusing on what to take OUT of your diet, try adding   --> more good things in <-- A great way to do this is by incorporating a green juice into your morning or afternoon.

JUICE! Our favorite word in the dictionary.

Make this liquid gold a 'staple' of your daily routine. Dense greens, combined with your favorite ROOTS'&'FRUITS gives you steady natural energy boost.

make you feel full so that you are not snacking on those sweet or salty items that get us all into trouble.

Nutrient packed juices make you feel full and help you reach an actual -state of satiety- so that you are not snacking on those sweet or salty items that get us all into trouble.

so you later do not find yourself craving troublesome sweet or salty snacks.

3. Get Up and MOVE.

Maybe you don't have time to make the 6am yoga class.

Maybe you don't have the drive to hit the gym after a work day.

THAT IS OKAY! Baby steps... Try to commit to just 10 minutes of movement a day. Whether it be an at home circuit session, or a quick walk around the block...

--> 10 minutes is only 600 seconds!

Research shows people who move every day are more likely to be social thus making them HAPPIER&HEALTHIER.

*Bonus Points= for planning a sweat date with friends!

( & no that is not a typo)

4. Early to Bed, Early to Rise.

Getting enough sleep is 'UUUUUGE' for

  • Hormone Health
  • Brain Function
  • Creativity
  • Emotional State
  • General Physical Performance
  • . . . the list is endless!

Having a set "bedtime" might take you back to all the adolescent FEELS ...but when you take sleep seriously, you will see serious improvements in all areas of your life! Giving your body the rest it needs will allow you to set up for the day, avoiding the (rush & anxiety) of the morning hustle. With enough time to sit and enjoy a proper breakfast, you can kick off g o o d - e a t i n g - h a b i t s to carry throughout the day.

5. Laugh A Little.

We double-dog-dare you.

Hanging around people who [UPLIFT and INSPIRE] you is proven to improve your health...

our Kaleidoscope squad is a testament to this :)

Make time for those people in your life who fill your cup and make you feel L I T ...up inside. Laughter LITERALLY changes the chemistry in your body by releasing endorphins and lowering stress hormones... again, science, so clutch.

So call up your besties and get g i g g l i n g.
